“We think, sometimes, there’s not a dragon left. Not one brave knight, not a single princess gliding through secret forests, enchanting deer and butterflies with her smile. We think sometimes that ours is an age past frontiers, past adventures. Destiny, it’s way over the horizon; glowing shadows galloped past long ago, and gone. What a pleasure to be wrong. Princesses, knights, enchantments and dragons, mystery and adventure… not only are they here-and-now, they’re all that ever lived on earth!Continue reading →
What I am attempting to deal with in my better home management series is how to arrange ourselves so that we are not working 24 hours a day. We live in the home, we look after other family members in the home, and we bring our guests into the home. That is quite a lot of time spent in the home, therefore the home manager should aim to do the minimum of real work so that she can escape from the home for at least six or seven hours a day. Only in this way can she guard against being too overworked and tired for her essential function of managing.Continue reading →
This article is just one of the many that I have written that will help women gain control over their situations at home if they happen to be in a difficult relationship. I am a firm believer in empowering others through helping them better their lives, and I believe that a person can only really have full control over their life when they take a leadership role in all that they do. This includes every area of their lives, from how they run their home to how they relate to their partner to how they earn their money. I am particularly interested in helping other women take back their power and learn to operate from a less self-sacrificing position – one which leads to feeling good about themselves and in control of their lives.Continue reading →
In offering my viewpoint here I expect that some of you will accept it and some of you may not. Some of you will already have beliefs in place that work for you, and if this is the case then feel free to skip this article. However, if life is not working for you at the moment then consider what I am about to explain, as I have found this information to work well for me and it may very well do the same for you. You may be wondering why I have included this topic here on my site, and the photo you see here. The reason is simple: if you don’t know why you are running your own business or doing other things in your life, then your chances of success will be significantly reduced. If you are to succeed in business it is vital that you know the reasons why you want to go into business for yourself, and it is vital that those reasons have their foundation in the best interests of all concerned. The essence of who you are (which I believe is the Soul of who a human being is) knows the lessons it needs to learn and the direction it wants to head in so that you can bring happiness and support to yourself and those around you. One of the reasons why you are considering becoming self-employed is because you probably want more freedom, and this means having more independence and control over all the areas of your life. To have total freedom you will need to develop an assertive personality, one that does not allow others to impose their intentions on you should that not be your desire, and one that is able to make things happen so that life gives you what you want. FOUR HORSEMEN is an award winning independent feature documentary which lifts the lid on how the world really works.
As we will never return to ‘business as usual’ 23 international thinkers, government advisors and Wall Street money-men break their silence and explain how to establish a moral and just society.
FOUR HORSEMEN is free from mainstream media propaganda — the film doesn’t bash bankers, criticise politicians or get involved in conspiracy theories. It ignites the debate about how to usher a new economic paradigm into the world which would dramatically improve the quality of life for billions.
“It’s Inside Job with bells on, and a frequently compelling thesis thanks to Ashcroft’s crack team of talking heads — economists, whistleblowers and Noam Chomsky, all talking with candour and clarity.” – Total Film
“Four Horsemen is a breathtakingly composed jeremiad against the folly of Neo-classical economics and the threats it represents to all we should hold dear.” – Harold Crooks, The Corporation (Co-Director) Surviving Progress (Co-Director/Co-Writer)
