You may be wondering why I have included this topic here on my site, and the photo you see here. The reason is simple: if you don’t know why you are running your own business or doing other things in your life, then your chances of success will be significantly reduced. If you are to succeed in business it is vital that you know the reasons why you want to go into business for yourself, and it is vital that those reasons have their foundation in the best interests of all concerned. The essence of who you are (which I believe is the Soul of who a human being is) knows the lessons it needs to learn and the direction it wants to head in so that you can bring happiness and support to yourself and those around you. The main reason why people who are looking at starting their own business waste time is because they think that they have to wait until everything is just right before they commence. There is no ‘just right’ time to go into business. If you don’t have the resources to start, you could be doing your market research and analysing your competition in the meantime. You could also be educating yourself on the products that you would like to sell, or reading up on the skills needed to become a good salesperson. It is important that you begin with whatever resources you have at the time, or you face the risk of never getting started. There are many inexpensive ways to test-run your idea – you don’t have to outlay a lot of money to get an clue as to whether or not you are likely to succeed. Just put your idea to paper, work out a simply way of trialing your idea, and give it a go.
I’ve just been watching a youtube video with an Australian woman who is part of a famous husband and wife team who have gone Crown Ambassador in a famous Network Marketing business that is known world-wide. I knew her when she and her husband began to participate in their network marketing business, having been involved for 3 years. In this video she talked about what success means. She says that her values and her integrity have always been the same as what she was taught when she was a very young kid. Apparently in her mind, success is not about money, it’s about who you’ve remained all your life. Well, I wonder if she still speaks down to the cleaners and treats them with disrespect, because that’s who I remember her being, that’s for sure. Nowhere in her speech did she talk about love or respect. Nowhere did she talk about tenderness. Her and her husband are on a high six figure income, and she didn’t speak about charity once. I wonder what success to her really does mean.
I’ve also gone to watch other youtube videos with those two talking, and still nowhere do they talk about helping other people using their own money. Sure, they talk about providing support to their downline, but nowhere, and I mean nowhere, do I hear of them doing anything with their own money to help other people. Hmmm, if I were learning under those people, I’d be being led astray I reckon. I’m sure glad that my teacher has taught me better than this.
