Service and Commitment Form

The form you see below will assist you in communicating how you operate your business to your client. You can either send this form out in the mail with your terms of business, or hand it to your client at the time that you do the estimate while in their home. Take whatever information you need to from what you see below to assist in the prevention of problems arising with your clients. They were used in my business, and helped clarify the boundaries that needed to be put in place to make sure everyone played by the rules. You may want to make yours sound less legal and more conversational though, as some people found the wording on my documents too harsh.

CLEANING SERVICES

A Regular Maintenance Clean takes on average 3 – 4 hrs and is easily done when the house is already maintained.

A First Extended Maintenance Clean takes on average 6 to 7 hrs, and is usually done as the first service to a Regular Maintenance clean. It does not include any Spring-Cleaning services, but aims to catch up on regular services.

A full Spring-Clean takes on average 8 to 10 hrs, and can take up to 12 hours. The fee for this total home clean is $35 – 45 p/h.

A Renovation Clean can take up to 40 hrs when there is work to be done after building and renovations. Fees are $35 – 45 p/h.

When vacuuming, furniture will be moved on a rotational basis each visit. When dusting, fixtures such as skirting boards, window sills, picture rails, picture frames, door frames and door moldings will be done on a rotational basis also.

Temporary cancellation of weekly service does not pose a problem to our roster. However, temporary cancellation of fortnightly services requires recommencement in the same fortnight allocated on the roster, i.e. you may have to wait two weeks for your next service due to the fact that on the week opposite to yourse there will already be a client in the same timeslot.

WINDOW CLEANING

This is a separate service and is not done as part of the maintenance cleaning. When done as a completely separate job, all accessible inside and outside windows at ground levels will be cleaned providing they can be done so with safety. Windows that are dangerous to reach and windows above ground level are subject to extra charges, negotiable before service.

IRONING

Ironing is only done inclusive of the Service at the same hourly rate as the cleaning. There is no pick-up and delivery.

Please supply the following tools and products for our use, being aware that high quality cleaning products produce a better result, faster. Therefore your time booked is more productive.
